ABUL HASAN ALI NADWI
ABUL HASAN ALI NADWI is one of the most reputed scholars and an
eminent leader of Muslim India. He is held in high esteem by the entire world of Islam. He
has written about one hundred and fifty books in Arabic and Urdu on subjects related to
Islamic faith, literature and history, and on problems confronting the Muslims in the
present times. A number of his books have also been translated into English, French,
Turkish, Persian and a few other languages.
The author is the Rector of Darul Uloom, Nadwatul Ulema, Luknow, President
of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, President of the Academy of Islamic Research
and Publications, and Member of the Standing Committee of Muslim World League
(Rabita-e-Alam-e-Islami), Saudi Arabia, the Advisory Committee of the University of
Madina, Saudi Arabia, and of the Academy of Arts and Letters of Damascus, Syria and
Founder Member of the Islamic Center of Oxford University U.K., in addition to his being
associated in various capacities with other religious and literary institutions and
organisations all over the world.
